Luling is a friendly, quiet community, rich in history and pride. Luling is renowned for its barbecue, farmer’s market, fresh produce and plants, abundant watermelons, and Texas’ first inland canoe paddling trail on the San Marcos River.
Luling's unique shops and variety of restaurants attract visitors year round. Annual events include the world famous Watermelon Thump, the Night In Old Luling, the Rough Neck Chili & Barbecue Cook Off and an annual Arts & Crafts Show.
Luling is home to Warm Springs Speciality Hospital which provides a variety of services to the community as well as Seton Edgar B. Davis Hospital a general acute care facility which is committed to providing quality inpatient and outpatient services for residents of Caldwell and surrounding counties.
